The beginning
I didn’t start here.
It was built—step by step. Decision by decision. Surrender by surrender. For over two decades, csBailey guided leaders, founders, and visionaries into building brands that worked.
But what you see now? This is what happens when a leader stops building what works and starts building what’s right.
God never said the weapons wouldn't form. He said they wouldn't prosper.
Born into the hardship of public housing, her life became a series of storms — both literal and metaphorical.
She learned early that home wasn’t always a sanctuary. It was where she first witnessed violence … and where her innocence was first stolen.
As she grew, the winds only intensified.
She survived the violation of rape in her 20s.
The terror of watching her toddler undergo major heart surgery.
The moments where her own life hung in the balance — during both weight loss surgery and childbirth.
She has stood in the path of a major hurricane.
But the most destructive forces were never wind or rain.
They were the diseases that stole the people she loved most.
She watched cancer take her father, ravage her husband’s body, and then, most painfully, take her son.
When the world went quiet during the pandemic, the silence was filled with loss — her mother, her sister, and her grandmother.
Through miscarriages.
Through infidelity and illness.
Through her own battle with alcohol and marijuana.
She has been weathered by life.
And yet — she was not broken.
She shares this story for one reason:
So you understand that the storms meant to break her … failed.
They didn’t destroy her. They revealed the warrior God was forging in the fire all along.
My life is evidence : if you choose the light ... you win. Not because darkness disappears, but because God is with you in it. peace is a decision.
